Triabunna is a Volunteer Brigade which responds and provides crews for local, intra/interstate incidents, such as:
Bushfires
Grassfires
Structure fires
Road accidents and hazardous materials incidents
Attending to alarm calls
Conducting fire hazard reduction (controlled burn-offs)
Providing fire safety advice and programs to the local community
Supporting local community events such as school fairs and shows
and is the first Volunteer Brigade in Tasmania to train in Road Crash Rescue.
We have a range of vehicles which includes:
5.1-light tanker
4.1-meduim tanker
7.1-group vehicle
3.1PR- heavy tanker with Road Crash Rescue capabilities
